Kokomo

Yesterday, after 11.5 years of life, my sweet mom had to make the tough decision to put her dog Kokomo to sleep. He had really gone down over the past few weeks, and we knew that it was coming, but that did not make it any easier.

It was one of the most emotional things I have ever been a part of. There was a group of us that met her there at the Vet to be with her as the medicine was administered. I really had no idea what to expect, but I guess I thought that it would take a bit longer than it did. I got to the vet at about about 10:05, and by 10:20 it was all over. He will be missed by our whole family.
