Before I get comments telling me to be thankful for dental care and that there are millions of people all around the world who would love to have clean teeth, let me say that I am very appreciative for my dentist and the hygienist that care for my teeth. That said, I like going to the dentist about as much as I like getting a big ole kick in the hind parts.
The scraping,
the pulling,
the bleeding,
the sucky thing,
the constant "open wide",
the fear of having a cavity,
the sounds of the drill in the next room...
It all just drives me nuts!!!
Yesterday I went for my 2nd cleaning of the year. All was well. No cavities thank goodness, but there was a lot of bleeding. Apparently once a week is just not enough to fool the dentist. There is no way to lie to them either so don't even try. The hygienist is like Jesus, Santa, and Your Mama...they just know when you are lying. This post is going to hold me accountable with my flossing. Feel free to email me often and make sure I am cleaning all the cracks and crevices.
