Planting a Garden

I have said every year since I was a little boy pulling onions and snapping green beans with my Grand Daddy that I was gonna plant a garden... I do not like a ton of veggies... but I do love fresh cantaloupe, bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and green beans...

Maybe this will be my year. My problem is that I never know where to plant it, and I need a tiller. I am too cheap to buy one. Anyone want to share? Do you plant a garden? Give me some advice.

Maybe I will get on that this weekend. It is supposed to nice and warm.

You should plant some corn. If Justin and I ever get out there you could feed us homegrown corn out of your garden. We LOVE corn. I know you love corn too.

I do not have a tiller but when you find one, let me know. I want to plant tomatoes. And in order to promote GREEN we should all borrow from our neighbors.

We plant a garden every year. Ryan will have to give you the details on what all he mixes in with the soil. We plant tomatoes & cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zuchinni, all sorts of peppers, & lemon balm every year. This year we've also planted onions & sweet potatoes, so we'll see how those work out. We did cabbage & bell peppers last year and did well with those. It requires some work, but it's lots of fun. If you don't want to do a whole garden, you could try out a container garden this year.
