Are You In Touch With Your Inner Jed?

The title asks the question, "Are you in touch with you inner Jed?" What a great question huh? Let me explain....
Tonight as me and a great friend of mine were riding down the road, he was acting absolutely ridiculous... He started singing this random song out of no where and the best part was the dance that went with it.... I busted out laughing and asked him what in the world he was doing... His reply... "I am getting in touch with my inner Jed."

That made me laugh even harder, but I totally knew what he meant because singing the spontaneous song and dancing is something I do all the time... I am an idiot...I know it... I am okay with it... I have embraced it.... It is who I am.... The other night at praise band practice everyone got a big dose of it... I forgot my trumpet and didn't realize it til I got there... so for an hour and a half I got to sit and act crazy while everyone else practiced... I just get that way some time... If you haven't seen this side of me... just wait... IT'S COMING!!! (Melissa, you should see it any day now!!!)

So I close tonight by asking you... "Are you in touch with you inner Jed???" If not, do something ridiculously silly this week.. make some one smile.... make some one laugh... loosen up... let your hair down and enjoy life.... You only get one shot at it... You might as well have fun!!!!

ooooh, Jed....I can't wait to see you at your best!!! I suppose most of us will do ridiculous things when our kids come in on Tuesday. I'll do things to get my first grade "babies" excited about school that I wouldn't even consider doing in front of adults (poor Patti)!

Oh honey- you know I'm in touch. So much so that I think I embarass my family sometimes.

When we're shopping and I hear a great song playing I start singing and dancing. Meredith usually starts walking the other way.

I may be riding down the road and just start singing and smiling and waving at people. Sometimes they look at me as if I have totally lost my mind but, sometimes they will laugh and wave back.

Laughter is contagious and so is a smile. You have to be totally in touch to be happy.

You know Jed, it wouldn't do for us to be out in public together!!

Have a blessed week and remember i love you.

Sounds like fun to me. We'll definitely need it as we are traveling from Toledo OH to NW Wisconsin for a family reunion. Have a great week!
