To Buy or Not To Buy???????

Recently I have been addicted to shopping online.... There are so many things out there that I would like to have... I know....materialistic... but we all buy stuff don't need right??? Most of the stuff I want could be bought at a store, but I have found some stuff online that I just haven't seen anywhere.... Besides, there is something about ordering online and it coming to your door in just a few days that gives you a thrill.... Below are 9 things that I have scouted out for purchase.... You tell me what think and that will determine if and when I get them!!!

1. The first 3 pics are all the same thing, but different styles... These are car decals and I cannot decide which one... You vote... 1, 2, 3 consecutively.... I am leaning towards the black one...
Cost: $3.99

2. I love T-shirts, especially ones that make people laugh or cause some stares... I have one that I wear around Christmas that says, "Be Nice, I Know Santa." I love to bust it out around July... People just stare and stare... It's Hilarious!!! I saw this one people on this websit full of "jed" merchandise... What do you think??? Is it me??? Cost: $19.99

3. I love RED.... It is pretty much my favorite color on anything... I love these red shoes I bought at a yard sale for 50 cents, but now I am ready for some more... Do these look ok??
Cost: $70.00

4. This is GPS that Oprah recommended on her favorite things show... I am NOT and Oprah fan, but she knows whats good to use... A friend at school introduced me to this gadget and I am thinking it may be invaluable this summer as cross the country. Do any of you guys have one of these or one like it??? Let me know if it worth the money..
Cost: $276 @ Target.... $181 @ Amazon

5. Control your laughter on this one.... but... for Halloween I want to be my favorite movie character, Elf..... I know it's early to be thinking about Halloween... but the early bird gets the worm.... Should I be bold and go for it or leave it on the web???
Cost: $49.99

6. The Cricut..... This is an amazing machine.... It is a favorite of scrapbookers everywhere.... It automatically cuts out shapes, letters, and anything else that is allowed by the cartridge you put in it.... It really could add great detail to my scrapbooks as well as my bulletin boards at school... The cost is the only thing keeping me from this... This version is the smaller of 2 possible machines... The other can hold a 24 inch piece of paper....
Cost for the small one: $250 large one: $300 (these are ballpark figures. it can be cheaper on ebay)
7. iPhone..... I WANT THIS BAD!!!!!!!!!!! I found out from a friend that works for Apple that the phones are going down in price in the fall, but the rate plans are going up... Should I get one now and pay the higher price with a lower rate plan or pay the cheaper price for the phone and more for the rate plan.... Ill probably end up paying more with the higher rate plan.... regardless.... I need a new phone.. the one I have now is a piece of junk!!!!
Cost: $400.00

I buy clothes on-line,cause most stores don't carry drawers big enough to fit my big ol' butt.

Omar the Tentmaker has a website called;

BIG BUTTS OR US.

Ok...I love shopping regardless if it is online or at the mall. I do own a Garmin Nuvi. IT IS WONDERFUL!!! I bought it before I left Texas. I use it all the time...I use to get lost, but that is not the case anymore. I do have to say that it is a great tool!

I like the black sticker the best. You should get it. I like the t-shirt, too. I always spend the money for good shoes - you gotta take care of your feet. Not sure that I could justify the elf outfit, unless you could use it more than once. We bought a Garmin Nuvi for our Christmas present after borrowing an older model from Ryan's old boss for the past 3 trips we've taken. It's great! We also have iPhones. They are fun if you're looking for a neat toy, but if you just need a phone and already have an iPod, I'd get another phone. The picture taking capabilities are not good - but it's cool to be able to access the web just about anywhere and have a "mini-stereo" to play your music.

Gotta get the GPS!!! I have a Mio C220 - they are a little more reasonably priced than Garmin and work just as well. With you going on your trip this summer, it will be awesome to have a GPS. :) Also, my hubbie is the purchaser of all things Apple, and he adores his iPhone. However, if you wait, they are supposedly releasing a bigger one this summer so the prices on the current one will drop more or you can get the new one with more memory.

hmmmm . . . I'm known in my family as being "stingy" (I call it practical), but here are my thoughts:

1. The black one would probably be easier to see in a window.

2. Fun T-shirts are AWESOME! (My favorite one says: "Sometimes I wonder why the frisbee is getting larger, and then it hits me" but I paid less than $5.00 for that one)

3. $70.00 for shoes?? You've got to be kidding!!

4. GPS for no reason = bad
GPS for cross-country trip = good.

5. Elf . . . no comment

6. I would be so jealous if you got a Cricut -- I've been drooling over those since I discovered their existence!!

7. I've heard a lot of good things about the iphone. I'm not one to buy in to the latest gizmo, but whatever floats your boat!

Well...
I like the black JED sticker the best. The shirt just screams you without having your name on it - even cooler that jed IS on the shirt. not sure about the shoes - you could pull it off :) I'm a more lowkey shoe gal. ELF - go for it! Cricut - you will love it. Angie has one that we use all the time - and I like saying the cartridge "Alphalicious" kinda like Fergalicious. I digress. Get the Cricut - won't be disappointed. Don't know on the iPhone and Garmin is the way to go on GPS systems - have heard not to waste money on a Tom-Tom.

Hope this helps!
