Spring Storms

If you were anywhere in the upstate of South Carolina this afternoon you experienced the springtime storms that the weather men were predicting all day.... Our little neighborhood got an extra special dose of the storm... It was some of the hardest wind I may have seen in my life... Crazy wind... below are some pics from just one street over from my house....

This tree below is in my backyard... It shows you how hard the wind blew... The right side of the tree is soaked while the left side is dry as a bone!!!

It's your favorite French teacher again! WOW! That is some craziness! It was a very cool storm, but the power behind it is scary. Don't mess with God, ya know?!?!

I'm glad that you and Matt-Matt are safe. I hate storms..my grandmother put that fear in me! She was terrified of storms. My daddy used to say that she could hear thunder in Atlanta and she would start calling for someone to come get her!

Man! That was scary! Believe it or not, we got a lot of rain, lightning and wind but, thankfully nothing as bad as what you guys had. You of course know my love of thunderstorms but, that was one time I stayed inside.

Man! We got hammered up in Boiling Springs yesterday! I got home from work bout 7:45 to find Gracie's swing set upside down and a good portion of my neighbors crepemyrtle in my carport!

The same storm must have passed thru Duncan where I work because when I walked out of the building the parking lots were littered with debris blown A/O knocked off the many trees here on this facility.

I never even heard it as my little cubicle is deep within the bowels of this big ole building! Must have been one humdinger of a storm!

See you at practice 2morrow nite!
