What a Weekend!!!!

On Friday night my church held a hot dog supper/auction to raise money for Matt and I to go deliver Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes to the Philippines. Boy did they raise it....3,650 dollars.....I was SOOOO Thankful for what the Lord did through the amazing people I call my church family....The highlight of the evening was when Ray auctioned off my trumpet. Believe it or not it went for 100 dollars....I am sure that's way more than Ray thought anyone would pay for it......
On Saturday night Matt, Lance, Stuart, and myself went to see Aaron Shust in concert. It was amazing..I took some pics but I cant post them til Stuart sends them to me.......I love Aaron Shust's music and to worship live and in a big group with him leading was really cool. My favorite song he sings is called "Glory to You." Below are the words

Great god of might, great god of wonders giver of life, giver of grace
creator of everything before us
you had me in mind before the stars were in place
Your love surpasses all by far We're praising You for all you are
The reason we're here and the reason we sing is to thank you oh God and give praise to the king we lift up our hands and we lift up our eyes and sing you are holy
The reason we're here and the reason we sing is to thank you oh God and give praise to the king we lift up our hands and we lift up our minds and we pray that all we do would bring glory to you
father of love. father of mercy what have I done that you would think about me?
you've taken my shame, you've taken my sorrow
replaced them with life and life abundantly
you can see inside my heart you can see inside my mind
So strip away the things that leave me deaf and blind..
I think that is my life motto: "The reason I'm here and the reason I sing is to Thank You O God and give Praise to the King!!!!" I highly recommend his CD, Its called "Anything Worth Saying" Most of you know his big song, My Savior My God.....It's on the HisRadio all the time!!!
Emily, if you read this I saw Joy at the concert....She was so excited to see me....It was so good to see her too. It had been about 6-7 years...She introduced me to the girl she was with as your trumpet player....It was too funny!
