I am embarrassed to even post these pitiful excuse for a snow day pics, but yes to all my northern readers we had a true "southern" snow day on Tuesday. The snow fell all night, not even an inch at my house... school was cancelled... and it was all gone by 10:30. It was a lot worse in the southern and eastern part of our county, but my house got the shaft. The pics are nice though. There is still plenty of winter left... and like every good southern knows... our best snows come in March!!!

What? Where? ;) Just kidding!! I told Carter the other night when the weather man said we were JUST getting 2-4inches.. nothing major (he really said that!) That when I was little we LOVED it when the weather man said that - he didn't say it often though. To which Carter replied, "why?" I guess he is taking the 30 inches outside for granted!! Hey I'll send you some!
When we heard the snow was coming (which not a flake fell in Tigerville) my kids were so excited talking about snowmen and forts. I said, guys, we live in South Carolina NOT North Dakota anymore.
It's so beautiful! I don't even care that it's just a dusting... I still think it's so glorious :)
We didn't get any in Simpsonville... a little on the trash can lid and our cars but nothing else. I was so sad... But, like you said - March!!!
I keep telling everybody..."that was the warm up snow" The big storm is still out there!
We had about 3 inches and the Last of Our Snow lasted until Thursday afternoon!!!! SORRY!!
