Today, Tonight, Tomorrow, when you read this post... leave some encouragement, but leave it for my blog friend.... Just leave the comment  by saying... Dear Blog Friend... Leave some encouragement, a joke, something that will make him smile... something that will make his day...

I have faith in my readers.... Let's spur (Hebrews 10:24) this brother on today....

Hey blog friend,

I might not know you personally, but the fact that you know my buddy Jed here is enough to make you a friend in my book. We are all brothers in Christ just as the Bible says, so your more than a friend, your a brother. Being as I would guess I'm the older brother here then...???...the good thing about brothers is they have been through the things your going through, and will always give you a hand when you need it. Don't ever feel alone because God is always with you, and your brothers are always within grabbing distance!

Dear Blog Friend,
Any friend of Jed's is a friend of mine! I use him when I need to vent too (as referenced in the entry--I must be venting a lot lately!) 2 of my favorite quotes--they're not Biblical, but they are words to live by when you're down or frustrated:
"if we couldn't laugh, we'd all go insane." Jimmy Buffett. Find something to late at every day--even if it's yourself. Since you know Jed, the blog is a good place to look!
"when you're at rock bottom, there are only 2 ways to go--straight up and sideways" You'll get tired of sideways really quickly, so try looking up!
Hope you find the encouragement you need from Jed and his blog buddies.

Hey blog friend,

I encourage you today to make life a happy place on earth. This is nothing compared to what God has laid out for us in heaven. That my friend gets me through even the roughest days. As Chris said we are only a grabbing distance away as brothers to spur you on. There has been many times I have been encouraged by Jed and Chris and Matt and Tim and Phil and Ju-Ju and Shirls and Sarah Beth because even our sisters can lift us up. God is good and hang on to that. So my blog friend I spur you on.

Dear amigo de blog (who knows, he may be hispanic),

Jed is a sponge when it comes to listening those who are releasing fears, issues, or whatever. You won't believe how far I've come from when it comes to breaking out of my box and actually opening my mouth to speak. I've been scared stupid when it comes to talking to certain people and mostly to complete strangers.
Pray for courage. That's what I do. The Lord will grant it to you.

Hey Blog friend!

Just a note to let you know that others are lifting you up today, including me. You've picked a great bro in Jed to vent to-- and just know we're all behind you. I always try to remember this verse
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13. It strengthens me to know that He is always there, no matter what. I hope things begin to look up.
Take care!

Now I rarely leave a comment, but this blog is special (not that your others aren't, Jed ;-)
Just something I've noticed about the lives of everyone I talk to. We all have our ups and downs. There are times I am soooo full of happiness and feel like I have the best family and friends and I have my life together; and other times I feel like I have no friends and am falling apart.
So...whatever it is you are going through, others have been there done that. And... yes, this is backwards, but it makes sense-think about it: What goes down must come up.
Kristen Hoy
PS-now that Melissa has said he's good for it, I'm going to have start venting to Jed too. haha

Hello Blog Friend,
Just wanted to say, Help Is On The Way. I said a Prayer for you and know - just like the 911 operator would say - "Help Is On The Way."

Friends are a Blessing - I already knew Matt & his family, from his growing-up years in our former church. Met Jed thu this Blog as they traveled on their western trip, this summer. Now, I'm Praying for you to have a great day each & every day. You get to chose.
We are growing friends.
Keep On Keeping On, My Friend,

Dear Blog Friend,

I want to share my favorite bible verse with you...

Do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of it's own. Matthew 6:34

Don't worry about what the future holds, just take it one day at a time! Turn your worries over to God. You just get through today and let him take care of the rest!

Thank You Mr.D- Jed !

And Thank you one and all that took the time to care about a stranger-

It has helped me, and encouraged me more than you will ever know.

I will do my best to adopt and live by these words of wisdom and encouragement, as well as pay it forward.

Warmest appreciation and rgrds -sm

Dear Blog Friend,
Here's a quote I heard recently that has helped me when I'm having rough days:

The winds of change blow against us all. It's how we adjust our sails that determines the result.
