Today I went to the doc for the problems... It has been a bit worse than normal....
He said...... because of my age and the family history.... that it was time to go ahead with a procedure.... I am having a colonoscopy and EGD on Oct. 10th..... The doc had on his good sense of humor, and assured me that he will use separate cameras for each end... HOW NICE OF HIM!
Guess I wont be making fun of old people any more huh JuJu??? Pray that they wont find anything... The doc seemed to think it may be my gallbladder, but wanted to rule out other stuff first. I will keep you posted!

Even I am not old enough for a routine colonoscopy (thank the Lord!)! Both ends, huh? Oh joy! Praying they find out what the problem is so you can get some relief!
Best of luck Jed! I've heard they aren't too bad. I don't see my parents as 'old' but this year was a first for them too- they didn't complain. So nice of your doctor too ;-)

woohoo!! welcome to my world, jed! i was diagnosed with crohn's disease in may '04 so i got to get all those fun procedures. do you get to drink the gallon of stuff the night before?? thats the best part!
we'll be praying for the results/your symptoms, jed.. i'm sure you'll blog an update!
Eat yogurt and fruit...it will keep you regular.
