Cancelled

I was all ready tonight for Back to School night... I had my Promethean Board flip charts ready... a nice little magnetic chart for each parent.... Candy on the desks... then came the storms.... We had to cancel... Tornados seemed to be popping up everywhere.. The sirens went off and everyone was kinda on edge... There was a pretty bad one over near Clemson, but thankfully one never showed up at the school... Better be safe than sorry though... That just means I will be all the more ready whenever we do have it. 

If you live around here I am sure you saw the heavy rain this afternoon.... too bad you didn't get to see what I saw... one of my neighbors running out of the house in her t-shirt gown to put buckets under drain pipes to catch the water.... Guess her water bill was too high last month.... She got soaked... It was hilarious!!! Stay safe in the storms and thank God for the rain!!!
