As of today though... I am ashamed no more... I am proud of my pages and the memories they will provide me and and my family... The first book that I have worked on was of my first year teaching 5 years ago.... Let me know what you think!!!!

Ok... Ok... Here it is.... My New Hobby
TONS of you have emailed me to ask about my new hobby.... and I must admit I have been VERY VERY reluctant to share it.... I am a very secure man and I am not ashamed to say that I wax my eyebrows and I have had a pedicure.... I have even had my nose waxed (yes the inside, that's a whole other blog!!!!) but it has been hard for me to admit that I have become addicted to Scrapbooking... I know I know... its not a manly hobby... but when you work with a bunch of crazy women all day ( yes you A.R!!!) sometimes their quirks, habits, hangups and hobbies rub off on you... I even went to this website called scrapbook.com and got a free account so I could see what other people's pages look like.. I have even seen a few other guys on the site who got started by helping their wives scrapbook!!!!

I'm thrilled with your scrapbooking skills. Your pages are wonderful! I am, of course, a pitiful scrapbooker, but then again, I like to mow the lawn and wash my care (which are kind of "manly" things). Keep it up!
Hey Mr. D, I too love scarpbooking. I suppose you have a picture of my "baby" on your page of your first year at Lone Oak. I have a picture of Jamie with a grean dinasour of his first day of school in your class in my scrapebook. Now we truly do have something in common.
Love You
Mama Barbara
nice scrapbooking, mr. dearybury!can i hire you to work on mine?
Hi from West Virginia! I'm Karen's sister and I just HAD to comment: There is no shame in admitting you enjoy something!! I'm a little envious that you have the time to do it. I'm a first-year teacher, and would love to make something like that (though I did notice that you are just now getting around to putting it together -- I guess there's hope for me yet!!)
I love it. Twenty years from now you will be so glad you did! Congratulations on finding a new addiction. Some day I will let you come visit JuJu Scrapbook Heaven...a treasure trove of tools...even a new Cricut machine! We need to have a party!!! Your pages are awesome. I am impressed!
Me TOO! Anyways, my creative memories consultant here in G'ville is a man.
