Tartanilla and Pasil

Last week on Monday, Matt, myself, and Evelyn (a Filipino lady who is teaching with us) went on quite and adventure to downtown Cebu to gather some art supplies that we need for this year at school...

We rode on a tartanilla, which is kinda like a rickshaw, with a horse doing the work instead of a person... It was a cultural experience...and the poor horse knew there was some hefty Americans on the back... poor thing!

We also got to go to Pasil Fish Market....it was...... interesting....to say the least.... I wish there was a way to attach smells to videos...

Watch and enjoy! and remember...be patient with the videos...hit play then pause it will the little gray bar goes across...that is the video buffering...when it is is finished then hit play again and you can see the video without being interrupted.

I'm so glad we don't have "smell-a-vision" cause I'm pretty sure the smells were strong. It's interesting how everything is always in an open market. Kinda like a Farmer's Market here. I've been checking the Skype but it's usually at a time when you guys are off-line. We'll hook up later.

Love ya-

Considering I am not a seafood eater....that was nasty to look at ...lol. I would have loved to ride on the house though. I bet that was an experiment
