Ever had a time where you just got your hind parts kicked....... I don't mean a physical fight where some dumb, over grown, bully of guy or girl beat you up...... I mean where the Holy Spirit of God or a good close friend challenged you or called you out about something in your life that wasn't right........
It stinks doesn't it.....
Seems like I have had COUNTLESS moments like that.... especially since I leave with my accountability partner Matt..... I remember when he launched some of his good 'ole fashioned "but-kickin" on me right after we started rooming together in college....
His words.... "It's not what you say, but it's how you say it!" Those words ring in my ears til this day..... I have come a LONGGGGG way in learning how to say things in the proper manner, but I still have a long way to go.... Most of the time my passion and zeal for a certain subject just blows my good sense right out of the water....
You'll notice the title says 3:19 and Blogging.... 3:19 is when I started the blog today.... Often times when I see a certain time on the clock it will cause me to reflect on a certain scripture that matches the time or I will look up scriptures that have that reference.... It is amazing how God uses that in my life to encourage me, rebuke me, or show me His love.....
Today He did all 3 with Revelation 3:19.... Click on the link and read it....Go ahead, I'll wait....
Aren't you glad He loves us enough to move us from our sin sick home into his glorious forgiveness and grace... The next time you feel the pain of a bruised "hind part" because of some loving chastisement or a heart wrenching conviction from the Holy Spirit... run,sing and dance with shouts of praise....It is just his way of saying I Love You!!!!
