Nice in the Ice

This morning, as did everyone around here, I awakened to find an icy morning and a wonderful 2 hour delay for school. For those of you at church last night thanks for praying all the ice away...I can handle a 2 hour delay way better than a day out.....Its hard to get caught up when ice shuts down school...Anyway, after I scraped my car off, I got in and realized I was out of gas....So here I go to the gas station in the freezing cold ice....When I got there my gas door was frozen shut...I knocked all the ice off but it still would not open. Apparently the ice had gotten on the inside and the latch that held the door closed was frozen shut.....I tried and tried and could not get the door open....Apparently my frustration was visible because a sweet lady came over and offered to help....She pulled the lever as I pryed the door open.....I was SOOOOO thankful for her Not only did she brave the ice and cold to help me, but she was walking with a cane because of a disability she had. I thanked her and she told my to have a good day. While I was pumping I decided to pay for her gas......When I turned around to pay she was already gone.....I hope she is having a good day and that the Lord would do something special for her today!
