Now onto the serious news of the day.....Is it gonna snow??????? Gosh, I hope so...I am so tired of watching the weather channel and hearing all these people gripe about all the snow they are getting and we haven't seen a flake..I read some blog of a girl I didn't know this morning and she was fussing about how they got 6 inches then 7 more now they have 13 inches on the ground with more on the way.....I LOVE SNOW!!!! One time when it was snowing, my sister and I ran outside and acted like morons cheering for the snow to come on down...I know I just gave some of you church folk some ammunition, but snow makes me crazy excited........I have been looking at the weather channel web page all day.....I can hardly stand the suspense of knowing whether it will come or not....Its probably because I am surrounded by kids all day, who want to be out and play tomorrow,...but I guarantee Ill be up late tonight waiting to see...Its almost like when I was little waiting on Santa.......What is it that causes us to like snow days so much here in the South. Here are some theories I have about why we like them.......
- Time Off (who doesn't enjoy time off??)
- Beauty of the Snow
- The Unexpected Change in Plans ( with a fun result)
- No Students for the Day (only if you are in education)
- Talk to People on the Phone (you know you gotta call everyone and tell them it's snowing)
- Adults get to act like Kids (just admit it...you get giddy when it snows)
- Bread and Milk (we need it anyway, snow reminds us to go)
- Change of Pace (After Christmas we don't have a lot to look forward to til spring, so the snow adds excitement to the bore of winter)
- ????? (whatever reason you can think of)
If you come up with another reason you can think of, send it to me and Ill add it to my list...Don't worry Ill give you credit too....If it does snow tomorrow I wont be posting, Ill be playing and taking some pics to put on here......I know you are devastated...If it doesn't Ill be back tomorrow to fuss about all the dumb weather men....My apologies to Jack Roper and John Cessarich if they read this Blog!!!!!!! (No apologies to Kristi Henderson cause she is busy taking care of her new baby!!)

Sing with me...
O the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go...
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!!
Our snow predictor at New Prospect (who has 100% accuracy in the 8 yrs I have been here) says it is coming and we will NOT be in school tomorrow. Even so, Lord, let it quickly come on down!!!!
